Weird people everywhere - tt's me & peihua 's view.
Recently, we've came across lots n lots of weird people out there. As u know, weird people do weird things..and INDEED they do lots of weird things!
Firstly, i got into a bazaar competition without me realising i am in the competition until the very last minute. (which is the day before the competition)... I was stunned. WHAT DA HELL, I dint even participate or sign up for any competition!! ( and no way am i going to participate in anything that is related to my sch!!) Just because my friend was asking me and the other fren whether we wana HELP OUT in the stall and gain some points. And for the sake of the points (because my CE points are pathetic) we said: " anything lor, for the sake of the points" (BUT only if we are free on that day)
And the very next thing i know, my name was on the list for the competition! NOONE inform us bout anything! Who is the leader, who's in the group? i know nothing bout it. Everything(including the theme, the proposal)was done "discreetly" by the unknown leader. Me & my fren wanted to quit so much, but there's a $200 penalty for any group who back out.
So the next day, we went to sch, earlier than before..wanting to talk to the in-charged. And finally, we saw our LEADER. And GOSH!! SHE'S THAT GIRL WHO WORE GOTHIC DRESS TO SCH!!(almost whole sch know bout her) And what she's selling was cotton candy,and some so-called japanese snacks, which i dun think that are japanese snacks, and the worst part is that she's also selling her favourite LACY GOTHIC SKIRT and BLOUSE!! -.- *faint* Me and my fren was like : "I HAVE TO SELL THAT?? I MEAN DUN EXPECT ME TO BE EVEN STANDING NEAR THE STALL!" It's not that we are bad or wad..but seriously we are not fully prepared for this..and she being a leader shd at least tell us wad's happening before she do anything foolish..(rental fee is already $20+, and she's selling those non-profitable stuff, including the Gothic outfit) My fren and I was so determined to leave..and so we left..after talking to the in-charged, because we really know nothing bout it, our name was submitted without us knowing it..so RUDE lor..
And we got away with the competition..phew..
And today another weird encounter.. Me and peihua met early in the morning bout 7a.m @ control station to go to work at a [Japanese company]-ALWAYS $2!!(hinting*) in IMM for stock-taking. Was quite glad becus at least i GONNA earn some money..i really spend too much recently.
We were told to take attendance first, the staff there was asking us to line-up in rows of 15..(those staff [auntie] can really shout..and damn enthu) After lining-up we were brought to another place, a place like a warehouse, for briefing.. First, they asked us to put our bags into the baskets provided, NO handphones are allowed. And then we were AGAIN assigned into groups again, and they are damn cruel, they separated all frens!!! and put us into different groups. But i asked peihua secretly changed her group to mine(luckily noone found out) becus those got caught were being asked to go back to their original groups.
And those long hair girls(including me) are being asked to tie up their hair,and those without rubber band are really given RUBBER's band to tie up hair!! Already damn pissed off..me and peihua was complaining and complaining! And we really really feel like going off!! The next ridiculous, shocking and exasperated thing is that.. they expect us to shout LOUD!! SHOUT UR LUNGS OUT!! They expect us to shout..YES!! YES!!
Have u ever seen those weird companies? Expect their staff early in the morning do exercise? SHOUT? AND SHOUT WITH THE HAND RAISING UP HIGH?? Yes this company i am talking bout does that. All their staff talk damn loud, like loud speaker. And peihua and I were totally shocked when they do the hand thingy and the shouting..and adding on to that there's a weird and short weird lady who run infront of us and shout..and she shout till her face was so red.WE WERE SCARED TO DEATH LA! That we almost cry! Me and peihua dint even open our mouth to even shout or answer.
We are already damn pissed off and angry and also insulted.. because they treat us like MAID! They said: NO LAUGHING. NO CHIT-CHATTING(if anyone being caught will be send off immediately). COUNT EVERYTHING. IF MIS-COUNT DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN.
And the most insulting thing is that they said: You must complete the stock taking by today, no matter it's 7pm,8pm or 9pm, WE PAY. ( yea..shit u! so wad if u gt money to pay? Even if u pay $100 per hr we are not going to work for u!) we felt totally insulted alrite. We are only gonna work for them for 1 day! Hello?
We are already damn pissed off, pissed till anytime we might jus yell at them and ask them to shut up! We regreted accepting this job!We really wana walk off like that!!! WE CANNT STAND IT ANYMORE!!!NO MORE!!!!!! ARGH!!!! Everyone there can see the frustration on our faces! And i keep asking peihua to go off.. cus i really really really damn pissed off!!
then they bring us to the store to stock take, and we were each allocate to a shelf!! After counting each part of the shelf..we must shout the digit to the one who's taking down the amount. SHOUT!! why they keep shouting?? its not a training camp lor.. damn u people ok, just a few dollars expect us to do so much! u all might as well go hire those commando since u people love to shout and be LOUD!
I am allocated to the SOCKS shelf.. they expect me to count the SOCKS!! and peihua was allocated to the UNDERGARMENT shelf.. and i was hinting to her to go..becus i really cannt tahan!! count socks?? and undergarment??!!! WE ARE MAID??? We felt so damn insulted, and we've never been so frustrated and pissed off in a job before..i can see peihua's expression changed immediately when she was allocated to the undergarment shelf. She is damn pissed off and so she approached the in-charged saying that we wana leave. ( finally she decided to leave!)
AND YEAH!! WE 2 LEFT!! WE FIRED THEM!! LOL!! we dun have to shout our lungs out, we dun have to count undergarment or socks! we dun have to suffer under those weird & enthu people..
Alrite, everyone there can see that we are damn pissed off..i wonder why the rest still continue to be treated like a maid! I guess we are the only 2 who left.. we've never been so proud and happy before to leave a job!
If u notice..both of my weird encounter actually gt some similarity..(they are both somehow related to the same country)
